Hebrews 12:1  Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Nothing may be as important to your health than the attitude you choose to have.  Yes, choose to have.  Your attitude is vital to your peace management.

When you focus on yourself and your problems you become stressed and miserable.  It can be very difficult to leave a pity party you’ve thrown for yourself.

Emotional stress actually changes the internal chemistry of your body and uses up vital nutrients just as well as physical stress and chemical stress.

Looking past ourselves and towards God and others redirects our energy and motivates us away from fear, self-pity, and regret. Having an mindset that you can overcome your circumstances sets you in motion for positive action.
