Balancing all aspects of you to achieve your God-given wellness.

Turning today’s challenge into tomorrow’s blessing because…

“With God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

Aahhhh!

Do you ever feel like you’re in a nightmare and can’t wake up? Or a Medical-Go-Round that won’t stop and you can’t find the way to get off?

It started out as a little twinge here and there or a little cough that just wouldn’t seem to go away.

The problem got a little worse so you went to the doctor.  They didn’t seem too concerned and gave you “a little something” to see if it would help.

“Come back if it doesn’t go away” they told you.

But now you’re tired ALL OF THE TIME!

So, you end up going back…”Well, let’s try this” was the next suggestion.

But, that prescription didn’t seem to work…and now there seems to be another problem.  You’re dizzy, have headaches or now you have stomach pain.  So you go back.

They do some blood work or x-rays.  They can’t quite figure out what the problem is but “let’s try this”.  And you go back…

…and back.

… to another doctor who’s a specialist…

…and back…

…for tests.

…and back…

…for more tests.

…and back… to another doctor…and back…

AAHHHHHHH!

Pinch me, wake me up and get me off this ride!!!

But, the only answers the conventional medical community had for us were to hide the symptoms and not address the underlying problems.

Many people choose that approach because they think it is a quick fix and they don’t have to change anything in their life. It’s like the old medical joke: the shortest health book in the world “eat well and exercise”. But what does that really mean?  Eat well and exercise can mean many things to many different people.

This gets us to where we are at in the first place.

In the USA we are used to the quick and easy things in life. Instant gratification.

Quick and effortless entertainment; TV, movies, video games, televised sports (the only exercise we get is maybe jumping up from the couch to yell at the TV), calorically dense and nutritionally poor food, fast, drive through restaurants, processed pop-in-the-microwave boxed pseudo food.

We want the quick fix, too…

…while ignoring the awful side effects like; bloating, dizziness, muscle weakness and hallucinations and some side effects that are the same or worse than what we are already experiencing!

Aren’t you dumb-founded when they go through all the side effects for a prescription drug on one of those TV commercials?

We don’t want to read or think about the side effects because we don’t want to change our minds.  And hey, we trust the doctors.  Surely they wouldn’t give us something that’s harmful, right?

But, David had experienced side effects that were worse than his symptoms. One of the antibiotics he was prescribed gave him severe hip joint pain which lasted for years.

It didn’t take long to change our minds about taking the quick fix.

We did the right thing!

We changed our lifestyle.  We changed our nutrition, our thoughts, got rid of toxins, and got more functional exercise.

Changing our lifestyle, which we thought was a drastic concept, didn’t seem so drastic after all when weighed alongside the quick fixes that just put a Band-aid over the problem.

Just one lifestyle change of consistently making healthier food choices had profound results and were unbelievable for my skeptical husband!

Only after a few months, David was able to sleep through the whole night. The sleep apnea along with other health challenges he had, such as chronic coughing, rashes and low energy, were gone!

You don’t have insomnia because you are deficient in Ambien.  You aren’t drained of energy because you’re caffeine deficient.  The reason you have clogged arteries isn’t because you have a statin deficiency.

Christian Natural Health

Over the years the Lord has been giving me the wisdom and the responsibility to start serving His Body - the Church - by being a coach or a signpost directing His Children to better health as He had intended.

Seeking Christian natural health means looking at ALL pathways to the roots of chronic ailments.  Balancing and healing every aspect of you - physical, spiritual, mental and emotional - creates wellness and wholeness of your body, soul and spirit.

Starting by seeking the wisdom of God FIRST, rather than only that of man, we may be directed toward the very root of disease by the One who created our miraculous bodies; bodies that have the innate ability for healing.

For my husband, David, and I the pathways of disease were those of nutrition (lacking nutrients or too much processed/refined “food”) and environmental bio-toxins (mold).

Other pathways to chronic conditions include:

  • Psychological and Spiritual - fear, worry, anxiety, bitterness, resentment
  • Genetic - inherited tendencies physical and spiritual
  • Medical - drugs, medications, surgery
  • Physical - sedentary lifestyle

If you’re tired of the medical-go-round with your health and are ready to team up with someone to ask God for wisdom, the Holy Spirit for guidance of actions and decisions, and have a coach as a prayer and accountability partner then you’ve come to the right place.  Remember - “With God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

Six years ago I was 75 pounds overweight, had severe sleep apnea, snored like a freight train, limped badly because of arthritis in my left knee, and was diagnosed with ED and Farmer’s Lung Disease.

ALL the issues I stated earlier are gone! I am on NO medications and my last physical showed that ALL my tests were in normal ranges.

~ David Olson, MN

I have suffered from ulcerative colitis challenges about 20 years. I was eating only white rice, chicken and during severe bouts, a liquid diet was recommended by health care professionals, as well as prescriptions and corticosteroid suppositories to control the symptoms. I was at the end of my rope.

The next step for me would have been a procedure called a colectomy. However, this means that a permanent external bag to drain the stool is needed.

One year later, I am eating so many different foods, and guess what? I have not taken a prescription drug since my journey back to wellness began. The test results show NO signs colitis is present!! I feel liberated!!
